Q. What is the Ramadan100 campaign?
A. The Ramadan100 campaign has been set up to support MRDF and it's projects.

Q. Who or what does the money go towards?
A. All money raised goes towards MRDF and it's projects. To find out more about MRDF and the work they do please visit http://www.mrdf.co.uk

Q. How do I donate?
A. You can either use the donate now button on the website or donate via our justgiving page http://campaign.justgiving.com/charity/muslimresearchdevelopmentfoundation/Ramadan100 You can even set up your own fundraising page if you prefer.

Q. How much do I have to raise?
A. The minimum you have to raise is £300. That's the ideal target. But if you prefer to donate another amount then you are welcome to donate via our justgiving page.

Q. Can I donate via bank transfer?
A. If you prefer to donate using a different method then please contact us at [email protected]

Q. Is there a deadline to raise the money?
A. Yes, there is a deadline. The deadline has been set for the 14th July 2016. If you have any issues regarding this then please contact us via email at [email protected]

Q. WHO ARE MRDF?

A. MRDF started in 2004 and registered as a charity in 2007 (charity registration no. 1119977). The aims of MRDF are as follow:

Provide Muslims with Cultivation (skills, framework, Tarbiya to live according to Islamic principles)
Provide Muslims with Guidance on living according to Islamic Principles.

Q. WHAT DOES MRDF DO?

A. Currently, MRDF strive to achieve its aims through 12 projects and supported projects, some of these include:

MYI: provide cultivation, knowledge and guidance to Muslim youth through Intensive Retreat Programmes, Key Skill Days and Activity Days.
Sabeel: Provide cultivation, knowledge and guidance to Muslim adults through Intensive Retreat Programmes in particular Sabeel’s flagship 3 Year Retreats Development Programme.
Islam21c: Providing guidance and insight to key issues faced by Muslims living in the West
Family Events: Providing Muslim Families with an Islamic environment, where they can learn, develop and appreciate their faith.
Reconcile: Providing a unique and professional service for our community by providing them with solutions, guidance and where possible reconciliation based on Islamic teachings and values.

MRDF ACHIEVEMENTS SINCE 2007

By the grace and mercy of Allah, MRDF has achieved a plethora of achievements. Some of these include:

Provision of educational retreats and courses cultivating over 3000 attendees through Sabeel.
Provision of educational retreats cultivating over 500 youth (11-16) through the MYI
Provision of direction and guidance through articles and videos to millions of visitors through the islam21c website.
Provision of lectures, course curriculums, seminars and khutbahs to over 30 organisations.
Helping develop, launch and provide direction and content for unique Muslim friendly family events for over 3000 attendees a year through Family Events.
Helping hundreds of Muslims by providing direction, guidance, judgment and advice based on Islamic principles through Reconcile.
Publishing and distribution over 20,000 books through fig tree publications (daily du’aa booklet, Meadows of the Divine)

Q. WHERE WILL THE COLLECTED MONEY BE SPENT?

Most money is spent on creating a strong backbone for MRDF. This includes:

Murrabi Sponsorship An average murrabi provides:
- Knowledge guidance direction and support to over 100 student per murrabi
- Delivers lectures at events, masajid and online.
- Researching and development of curriculums
- Produces notes and course material for different projects and courses.
- Writes articles, creates publications and podcasts
Providing subsidy About 25% of services users to paid courses, projects are subsidised. These includes users of services provided by:
- MYI
- Sabeel
- Reconcile
Development and Launch of new projects MRDF is continuously looking for new projects that will help achieve our vision.

what is ramadan 100?

The Ramadan100 campaign has been created to raise a total of £30,000. Now this target sounds BIG so we've decided to break it down and make it more digestable for everybody to get involved. We want 100 individuals to get 10 people to donate £30 during the month of Ramadan. We believe this target is more than achieveable and works out to be as little as £1 per day Insha'allah, this will then help us reach our target.

where does the money go?

The money raised will go to MRDF and it's projects. MRDF was founded by a number of scholars and students of knowledge including Shaykh Haitham Al Haddad.
